It is always exciting when a new painting is completed or new products are released featuring paintings by Kathy Fincher.    God Has a Plan for Me   God Has a Plan for Me With the challenges our young boys face in their daily journey to become men and ultimately spiritual leaders, it is important to know God has a plan for each and every one.  My goal in creating this painting was to portray hope and resolve, with the Bible  close to his heart in a church setting.         You may recognize my young cousin, Graham, for he is also the model for "Here's the Church."   This illustration is inspired from the school in which both of our daughters attended.  The uniform design and fabric is identical to the uniforms of the school.  The old desk is exactly like the one that were in the local schools when I was a young girl.  The contents of this painting are a blend of old and new. Education has always been a high priority in our family.  My grandparents were both college graduates in the 1920's.  We believe knowledge is important, however, it is the parents' involvement which helps turn the key to a child's success.
